Chronic anovulation

According to research, about 27% of cases of female infertility are associated with ovulation disorders, making it one of the most significant issues in reproductive medicine. Causes of Anovulation

Ultrasound: the diagnosis includes an ultrasound, which assesses the state of the endometrium, the size of the ovaries, and the presence of antral follicles. For example, the thickness of the endometrium may not exceed 5 mm, the size of the ovaries is less than 3-4 cm³, and single antral follicles of 2-3 mm in diameter are detected within them.

Chronic anovulation can be diagnosed even in women with regular menstrual cycles and normal gonadotropin levels. In this case, the basal body temperature is consistently low, and the dominant follicles and corpus luteum are absent.

Treatment Methods

The absence of ovulation, the main biological obstacle to conception, makes pregnancy impossible.
