IVF with Egg Donation
The desire to experience the joy of pregnancy and the bond that forms between a mother and her child during pregnancy is powerful and natural.

What is In Vitro Fertilization with donor eggs?

Women's eggs are fascinating cells that, once fertilized, allow for the creation of a new life. Girls are already born with several million immature eggs, an ovarian reserve that naturally decreases, with the loss accelerating when they reach their thirties. As the quantity of eggs decreases, so does their quality: Age directly affects the ability of each egg to become a viable embryo and then a baby.

However, thanks to In Vitro Fertilization with donor eggs, hundreds of thousands of women and couples around the world have been able to continue growing their families despite having depleted their own ovarian reserve. This technique has advanced significantly, and currently the treatment itself is not particularly complex for the recipient, but it does often provoke emotions that must also be taken into account before starting it.

What does In Vitro Fertilization with donor eggs consist of?
It all starts with a first visit with a specialist that can be in person or remote, and that at NatuVitro is free.
Once the explorations and corresponding diagnosis have been completed, we create a detailed profile that includes the physical characteristics of the recipient and, if applicable, your partner. This way, when you have made the decision to start your treatment, our donor team can immediately begin the search for a woman between 18 and 34 years old whose hair color, eye color, skin color, physical constitution, and blood type are compatible.
Sample of semen
During this search, and if you have a male partner, we will ask for a sample of his sperm.
At NatuVitro we have our own team with extensive experience in finding the best possible donor. It is important for you to know that, by law, in Spain neither you nor your donor will know each other's identity. Egg donation here is completely anonymous and altruistic.
We explain in detail the donation process to the selected candidates, and we start a complete battery of medical tests, psychological interviews, and clinical analysis that allow us to discard diseases, genetic incompatibilities, or psychological aspects that could be transmitted to the future baby.
This process usually takes about a month.
Once we have the best donor for you, we will inform you when we start her stimulation treatment. If you wish and it is possible, we can opt for a transfer in your natural cycle.
When she is ready, we proceed to the extraction of a limited number of her eggs, and we prepare them immediately in our IVF laboratory. Here we fertilize them with a viable sperm, and then we deposit them in a state-of-the-art incubator that will allow us to monitor their development until they reach the blastocyst stage, which usually occurs after five days.
Embryo transfer
The long-awaited moment has arrived, the transfer is a magical, fast, usually painless moment, carried out by the same doctor who has followed the entire treatment: At NatuVitro, if you have a partner, they can be by your side in that special moment. The transfer itself lasts just a few minutes, after which you can rest peacefully in your private space, and from that moment on, you can lead a practically normal life.
We would like to inform you that the beta-wait period, the time from the transfer until the pregnancy test, is a moment filled with hope, excitement, and also nerves, in which we can do nothing more than wait for nature to take its course.

For your convenience, we can carry out your IVF treatment with egg donation with just two in-person visits to the clinic.

Why do so many patients trust Natuvitro?

An expert team NatuVitro is a new clinic, with state-of-the-art facilities, however, all its team of specialists has been trained and acquired their experience in the best Assisted Reproduction clinics in Europe. The entire team at Natuvitro is united by the same conviction that a good assisted reproduction treatment needs a level of personalization that only medium-sized centers like ours can offer.
A diagnosis and a truly personal treatment No two women are the same. An Assisted Reproduction treatment that works for one person may not be suitable for another, which is why it is so important to have a diagnostic care that allows adapting each treatment to the person who will undergo it. During the treatment, you may have doubts and questions that our expert coordination team, in constant contact with your doctor, is happy to resolve, guiding and accompanying you every step of the way.
The best technology at your disposal If team experience and empathy are very important, having the best technology in the IVF laboratory allows us to achieve excellent results. Starting with high-resolution 3D ultrasounds for diagnosis, or the Witness® security and traceability system, or the latest generation ICSI micro-manipulator, or automatic sperm counting, or the Embryoscope® incubators that allow us to monitor the evolution of each embryo, or the micro-laser for performing Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), or the safety cryoconservation tanks, or also the fact that our IVF laboratory is the first in Spain with 100% certification free of volatile organic compounds (VOC free).

Success Rate

The chances of pregnancy offered by IVF with egg donation are the highest of all Assisted Reproduction treatments.

1st attempt
2nd attempt
3rd attempt

It is important to know that "success rates" are a complex issue that depends on many factors. But as a general rule, in 70% of cases we achieve pregnancy on the first transfer attempt. After the second attempt, the probability of pregnancy is 91%. After the third attempt, that probability is 98%.

Blastocyst Guarantee

In some Assisted Reproduction centers, a specific number of eggs per treatment is still proposed. But nowadays, in the most advanced clinics, we go one step further and offer you the guarantee that you will have a specific number of blastocysts.

What advantage does this approach have?

We call a blastocyst the embryo that we have been able to monitor its development for five days until it is in its pre-implantation stage in the future mother's uterus. That is, we know that its morphology, maturation, and evolution have been correct. The sum of these factors is indicative of a good prognosis.

In the traditional approach, having a specific number of eggs does not guarantee that you will have one or more viable embryos, as not all eggs survive laboratory procedures. In fact, naturally, only 50% of embryos reach the blastocyst stage.

In other words, at NatuVitro, we will have used all the eggs that have been necessary to guarantee you a specific number of blastocysts for transfer. Depending on the treatment, we vitrify the blastocysts that we do not implant in the first attempt at -196 degrees so that they remain intact and available for when you need them.

How much does an IVF treatment with egg donation cost?

The cost of your treatment will depend on your diagnosis and preferences. In the following table, you can see the different options we can offer you. During your first visit with your doctor, you will evaluate which is the best treatment for you, and together you will adapt it to your personal situation.

Remember that if you are a resident in Spain, you can finance up to 100% of the total cost of the treatment, including medication.

The * amounts described are indicative, consult us for the amount you want to finance

At NatuVitro, we also offer a pregnancy guarantee program, where we will refund 100% of the amount paid if you do not become pregnant within the two years following the first transfer. Contact us for more details.

Anonymous and selfless
Who is your egg donor?

According to Spanish law, egg donation, like any organ or biological tissue donation, is anonymous and altruistic. This means that neither the donor nor the recipient can know the identity of the other person. Once you are known to your doctor at NatuVitro, along with your partner if you have one, and your donor, it will be your doctor's responsibility to ensure the maximum compatibility between both parties, as well as the safety and well-being of both.

Between 18 and 34 years old
With physical characteristics similar to yours
From which we have verified their good physical and psychological health
Free from communicable diseases
We have performed a karyotype and other genetic tests to rule out hereditary diseases.

Emotions during an IVF with egg donation

Hundreds of thousands of women and couples from all over the world have made the same decision at some point, and today they are happy mothers. Here are some of their comments:

"My first reaction upon hearing the diagnosis was shock. It gave me the feeling that we were bringing a third person into our relationship, and I think that's what made me shut down. I was chatting with dozens of women who were in the same situation, and little by little I realized that this cell was nothing more than a tiny part of the future baby that was about to come. I remember that morning was sunny, we called the clinic to start the treatment. Today, when I see my daughter sleeping peacefully, I am grateful to that unknown girl who gave me the key to the best treasure I had ever dreamed of."

Opinion of an egg recipient

"The first time I heard about egg donation in class, I thought, oh, but I'm not even considering becoming a mother yet. This doesn't apply to me! But one day, while talking about it with a friend, I realized that I had the possibility to help a woman who was trying to conceive. Giving an egg is not giving a child, I don't see it that way. For me, giving an egg is giving happiness to someone. Many times, I think about that woman and that family. I am very proud to have helped them, and I would do it again."
